Yesterday (Tuesday 30 May), we travelled from Nafpaktos to Trizonia, a journey of approximately 13nm.

Trizonia is an island lying off the Greek mainland opposite the town of Glifadha that is home to a small fishing hamlet and this is our first view of the harbour.

The mooring options were round to the left of here and involved either going alongside one of the jetties in the 'marina' or dropping anchor in the bay. Neither sounded particularly attractive since the jetties were known to be very rough and capable of shredding fenders and the sea bed in the bay was mud and weed so it could take a few tries before getting a good holding.
We opted for mooring in the bay which would allow us to have a swim and the dinghy was up and running to take us ashore for dinner. To our surprise, the anchor held at the first attempt - what a result!!

We had a simple but delicious supper at one of the tavernas in the village then back to the boat for an early night.
